  1. The event is open to all who wish to take part after completing the registration form, paying the registration fee (according to the distance chosen) and having undergone a health check and confirming this at registration. All participants take part in the Run of their own free will, without being forced to do so by anyone, and assume all risks associated with participation in the Run (including any medical conditions, etc.), and undertake not to make any claims against the organisers of the Run in respect thereof.
  2. Runners must have a proof of identity when collecting their entry pack, which includes: entry number with timing chip, locker room sticker with number, event programme and other items. A copy of the participant’s ID/photo is required to pick up another participant’s start packet.
  3. Each participant who has registered for the run automatically agrees that the event organisers are free to use all photographs and footage taken during the event for marketing purposes without any separate consent.
    Participation is open to: 5 km – persons under 29 years of age; 10 km – all persons; 21.098 km – persons under 16 years of age.
  4. Persons under 18 years of age, by submitting a completed and signed consent form, acknowledge that they have the consent of their parent, guardian or coach for their participation in the event and/or that they will be supervised by a parent, guardian or coach throughout the event, who assumes full responsibility for the participants.
  5. By registering, the participant confirms that he/she understands that participation in the event is related to a significant test of the physical abilities of a human being, as well as confirms that he/she has undergone a health check-up, complies with the requirements for health check-ups stipulated by the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania, and, upon request of the organisers or any other persons, will provide a certificate confirming his/her health status. In the event of suspicion of ill health, the participant must, at the request of the organisers, discontinue his/her participation in the event and consult a doctor.
  6. The Participant understands and acknowledges that the Organisers shall not be liable for and shall not compensate for any damage to the Participant’s health or life. All risks and liability for health problems, injuries and accidents resulting from the Participant’s participation in the Event shall be borne solely by the Participant.
  7. All athletes from Russia and Belarus agree that by participating in the event they are competing without competition and do not claim any prizes or awards. Professional athletes are not eligible to participate in the event (notwithstanding any applicable exceptions).
  8. 8.1 All Russian and Belarusian citizens who have a residence permit in Lithuania must pay the registration fee by bank transfer.
    8.2 Each participant must present a residence permit for Lithuania, a document signed in free form stating Russia’s position against hostilities (in English or Lithuanian) and a copy of payment.
    8.3 The participant must inform the organisers at info@vilniauspusmaratonis.lt that the documents will be brought to the number collection point. Failure to do so will result in the entry fee being refunded after the event.
    8.4 In accordance with the recommendation of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania and the announcement of the Lithuanian Athletics Federation (below), and the decision taken by the Public Institution “International Marathon”, citizens of Russia and Belarus are strictly forbidden to take part in the events organised by the organisation. Exceptions apply to persons who have and can present an official residence permit issued by the responsible authorities of the Republic of Lithuania for the territory of the Republic of Lithuania during the event.Participants are required to present the residence permit when collecting their bib number (regardless of whether the document has already been sent to the e-mail).The organisers reserve the right to request an additional document in case of any suspicious documents.

 

The Organisers reserve the right not to accept the submitted documents and not to allow participation in the event without further explanation (in this case, the participation fee will be refunded after the event).


03 16 for Belarusian and Russian nationals

  1. You can only register under your own name. It is forbidden to transfer your number to another participant.
  2. If a registered participant wants to change to a shorter distance, he/she has to pay a distance change fee of 10 EUR. If the participant wants to change to a longer event, the difference between the entry fee according to the entry fee valid on the date of payment and the distance change fee – 10 EUR – must be paid. The change of distance is possible until 19 May 2025 at 24:00.
  3. If a registered participant wishes to change the participant’s information on the entry list or the size of the T-shirt, he/she must pay a change of information fee of 10 EUR. Changes can only be made to the details of the registered participant. Changes can be made until 19 May 2025 at 24:00.
  4. Changes to the registration details will be made once the participant has paid for the service and informed the Organiser by email to info@vilniauspusmaratonis.lt, sending a payment statement and the details to be changed together with the email.

  5. Participants and their supporters are strictly forbidden to use any means of transport, e.g. bicycles, roller skates, skateboards or other wheeled vehicles. Participants who violate this point will be disqualified.
  6. All entrants agree that their email address and entry number will be used for the GetPica Service photos.
  7. Participants are not allowed to use any personal escort during the competition. Participants who violate this rule will be disqualified.
  8. Participants are strictly forbidden to bring their pets during the event. Such participants will be disqualified if noticed.
  9. Each participant must have a number neatly affixed to his/her t-shirt. The number must be placed on the front of the T-shirt (chest) in a clearly visible place. Participants who run without a number will be disqualified.
  10. Finishers must leave the start/finish area via the designated exits. It is strictly forbidden to walk through the control time zone after finishing, otherwise the results will be void.
  1. There will be refreshment points along the course where water will be distributed to the competitors.
  2. Bio-toilets will be built on the half marathon course for participants.

The winners of the first three places will be announced in the overall women’s and men’s category for the 5 KM, 10 KM and 21.098 km distances.

    1. Finishers of the Nike Youth 5K Run, 5 KM, 10 KM and If 21,098 KM will be awarded commemorative medals.
    2. The youngest participants of the Kids’ Run will be awarded special commemorative medals.

Registration takes place on www.manobegimas.lt. You can register for the run by filling in the registration form and making a payment via online banking.

Registration is ongoing:

  1. Until 23 May, 24 hours online,
  2. On 24 May (the day of the event) registration will take place at the venue.
    Information on the pick-up of participant’s packages will be updated.
  3. Once the registration form has been duly filled in and the entry fee paid, the participant will be entered in the start protocol.
  4. By registering, the participant confirms that he/she agrees to receive newsletters and SMS messages related to the events organised by VšĮ “Tarptautinis maratonas”.
  5. The contents of the participant’s bag must be checked by the participant at the place of collection. After collection, in the event of a shortage of the contents of the basket, the contents of the basket shall not be replenished.
  6. The Participant’s basket will not be given out after the event.
  7. Each participant must collect his/her start packet at the time of the pre-delivery and on the day of the event at least 2 hours before the start of the selected distance.
  8. If you arrive at the pick-up point later, you will be able to pick up ONLY your bib number (the sponsor packet will not be given).

The winner of the Most Generous Organisation Cup will be determined by the number of registered participants in the Half Marathon, 10 KM and 5 KM distances. Important rule – members of an organisation must indicate the exact (same) name of the organisation they represent on the registration form.

The winning team will be awarded a trophy on the day of the event.

  3. Participants’ data is obtained by submitting the registration form on the website referred to in point 2 and managed in the legitimate interest of the data controller – for the purposes of organising, implementing and participating in the “If” Vilnius Half Marathon:
  • 3.1. information about the name, surname, date of birth, as well as registration fee data are processed for the administration of the participant’s purchase/registration of the event;
  • 3.2. phone number, email address, date of birth, gender, country, city, as well as details of results achieved at the event (time, place reached) for information and event organising purposes (sending relevant information about event, results and winner, preparing awards, categories participating in the event (by sex, age), etc.);
  • 3.3. information about the participant’s name, surname and email address is also handled for direct marketing if the participant agrees in advance.
  1. Participant must submit 3.1. and 3.2. for the fulfilment of the registration and the purpose of the event.
  2. Data about the participant’s name, surname, age group, gender, achieved results (time, place reached), as well as the city and country are publicly available on the website https://vilniauspusmaratonis.lt/. In order to ensure transparency of the results, the participant automatically agrees that the data will be made publicly available on the website when registering for the event.
  3. Each participant agrees, by registering, that the organisers of the event may freely use the images and footage of the event for marketing purposes, such as social networks, web sites, etc.
  4. Participant data stored:
  • 7.1.  details of the participant’s telephone number, email address – 5 years after the participant’s registration date;
  • 7.2. details of the participant’s name, surname, date of birth, sex, country, city, as well as details of the results achieved at the event (time, place reached) – for statistical/historical purposes and not deleted;
  • 7.3. details of the participant’s name, telephone number, email address for direct marketing – 5 years from the date of such consent.
  1. The participant has the right to request that the PI “Tarptautinis maratonas” allow access to and rectification or erasure of the Participant’s personal data or the processing of restricted data.
  2. If the data is processed for direct marketing purposes (with the prior consent of the participant), the participant has the right to refuse such processing at any time. This right may be exercised by the participant upon notification by email to info@vilniauspusmaratonis.lt.
  3. The participant has the right to submit a complaint to the State Data Protection Inspectorate regarding the actions (inaction) of the PI “Tarptautinis maratonas”, which, in the opinion of the participant, are in breach of the provisions of legal acts.
